GUMELAB Conference "Latin America's Contested Pasts in Telenovelas and TV Series" at the German Historical Institute, Washington D.C., 7 and 8 September 2023

Together with our cooperation partners from the German Historical Institute, GUMELAB hosted the international, inter- and transdisciplinary conference " Latin America's Contested Pasts in Telenovelas and TV Series. A Cross-Sector Dialogue between Academia, Entertainment and Society ", at which strategic issues relating to the communication of history in entertainment media were discussed.
