GUMELAB panel at the 6th World Conference of the International Federation for Public History (IFPH), 16. - 20.08.2022

The 6th World Conference of the International Federation for Public History (IFPH) was held at the Free University of Berlin from August 16-20, 2022. The GUMELAB project organized a panel entitled "History Transfer through Telenovelas and Series in Latin America" on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, and presented its first research findings on the reception of telenovelas de la memoria. Prof. Dr. Stefan Rinke moderated the panel and June Carolyn Erlick (David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, Harvard University), author of the book Telenovelas in Pan-Latino Context commented on the presentations of Dr. Mónika Contreras Saiz, Hannah Müssemann and Holle Meding.
