Valentina Mendez Höcherl

Valentina Mendez Höcherl is a Master's student of Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin with a profile in Gender Studies. After having done her exchange at the University de Los Andes in Bogotá, she is now doing her research internship in the GUMELAB project. She is interested in analysing gender relations in the narconovelas Narcos and Pablo Escobar, El Patrón del Mal and its impact on the memory of Colombia.

Her favourite series is Ingobernable (Mexico, 2017-2018).
